Job Details
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency.
  • Create process documentation and detailed operating instructions for manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee the implementation of new processes and procedures to ensure seamless integration.
  • Analyze existing processes, recommend improvements in methods, and propose enhancements to tooling.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to processes, procedures, and operations as they arise.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Quality, Delivery, and Cost, and take proactive measures to address underperforming processes.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for project quotes and proposals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and actively participate in process Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (pFMEAs) and 8D problem-solving.
  • Lead and support improvement projects, including deployment of LEAN methodologies, 6S initiatives, and Continuous Improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and goals.
  • Ensure timely publication and availability of manufacturing process documentation for shop floor use, including programs, tooling lists, setup instructions, and fixturing details.
  • Provide support for emerging operational needs and requests.
  • Manage specific projects as assigned, including developing and tracking project schedules in cooperation with program managers

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of process engineering experience
  • Experience reviewing and specifying requirements for other processes such as plating, heat treatment and cleaning
  • CAD experience
