Mechanical Engineer

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer for design and development of electro-mechanical products in the Medical, Industrial, Commercial, and Natural Resources markets.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical design of mechanisms, machined metal parts, sheet metal parts, molded plastic parts, and electro-mechanical assemblies Involvement will range from concept development to product realization using 3D solid modeling software (PTC Creo and Solid Works)

• Development of specifications from customer requirements, coordination with the electronics design team, interfacing with vendors and contract manufacturers

• Material selection, tolerance analysis, structural analysis, thermal design, and UX design

• Coordination with the production for design for cost and manufacturability

• Prototyping, generation of detailed drawings, bills-of- materials, and engineering reports

• Project management for the mechanical aspects of projects

• Support for mechanical product validation testing and regulatory compliance
