For over 50 years, we have been a leader in providing biomass-fired energy systems, lumber dry
kilns, and related products and services. Firmly established, we provide our customers with
complete services in design, engineering and manufacturing, as well as installation services and onsite technical services.

We are looking for a fulltime Electrical Engineer to join our team! This position is responsible for electrical system designs for
biomass cogeneration facilities, wood-fired energy systems, lumber dry kilns, and related products
and services. Duties include, but not limited to the responsibilities outline below:

Job Details

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Power System Design including Grounding, Duct Banks, Lightning Protection, Substations,

Power Factor Correction, Medium Voltage Switchgear, Steam-Turbine Generators, Motor
Control Centers, Power Distribution, Lighting, etc.
  • Producing single-line diagrams, wiring schematics and other design and construction

documentation.
  • Interfacing with clients and utilities to determine interconnection specifications.
  • Specification, evaluation and procurement of electrical equipment.
  • Configuring Protective Relaying and Automatic Transfer Schemes, Breaker Coordination
  • Power System Commissioning.
  • Training personnel on proper operating procedures of installations.
  • Troubleshooting system issues by phone, online, and on site.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

PROFICIENCIES:
  • NFPA 70 - National Electrical Code
  • NFPA 780 - Lightning Protection Systems
  • NFPA 70E - Electrical Workplace Safety
  • NFPA 13 - Installation of Sprinkler Systems
  • OSHA
  • ANSI Standards, Device Numbers & Acronyms

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current P.E. license in Electrical Engineering
  • B.S. Electrical Engineering Degree

Software:
  • AutoCAD Electrical
  • ETAP
  • DIALux
  • MS Outlook, Office

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to occasionally travel up to 30% (domestically and internationally) and work hours

outside of routine schedule as required to support projects.
