We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our well-established Engineering team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, from HVAC and fluid systems to fire life safety systems and energy modeling. This role requires a strategic thinker with a practical mindset, capable of developing and implementing complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, including HVAC, fluid systems, air systems, and heat recovery systems.
2. Collaborate with the design team to create energy-efficient models for various projects.
3. Manage and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
4. Develop and implement fire protection and life safety systems, ensuring all designs meet regulatory standards and guidelines.
5. Prepare detailed schematics for mechanical equipment, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
6. Conduct performance evaluations of mechanical systems, making necessary adjustments and modifications to ensure optimal performance.
7. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and introduce new technologies and methodologies in the workplace.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, MEP Engineer, or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in using CAD software to design mechanical systems.
4. Extensive knowledge of HVAC, fluid systems, air systems, and heat recovery systems.
5. Experience in designing and implementing fire protection and life safety systems.
6. Excellent understanding of energy modeling techniques.
7. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and their integration in the overall design.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
10. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
12. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
