Base Salary: $75,000-$90,000/yr.
Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in all phases of the product development cycle which includes requirement/definition, design and development, verification (such as unit tests) and traceability matrix, and transfer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Digital FPGA logic design
- Low-level firmware development
- Provide mentoring to junior level software engineers
- Design and develop digital circuits
- Perform product development including design, verification from prototype to manufacturing
- Manage engineering change orders and schematic design
- Collaborate with engineering team in architecture and design of electronic systems
- Skilled at product testing to quality standards that meet ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 requirements
Job Qualifications: - B.S Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience, required
- 2 years of experience in digital and analog design in a manufacturing environment, required
- Familiar with embedded processor design
- Familiar with motor control design
- Experience with Altium, KiCad, desired.
- Prior experience with FPGA logic design experience, firmware and embedded processor design, required
- Skilled in Microsoft Suite
- Prior experience in the medical device industry, desired.
- Prior experience in product testing to quality standards that meet ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 standards, required.
