Our client seeks a Design Engineer to join the widely respected and diverse Transportation Division in The Hollywood, Florida office location.

Successful candidates will have experience in Florida's Department of Transportation (FDOT) roadway projects, possess high adaptability, technological proficiency, and a dedication to meeting client expectations. The role entails undertaking a broad range of responsibilities, requiring proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and the Microsoft Office Suite for construction plan preparation, development of 3D models, engineering report preparation, and specification development.

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of transportation engineers, contributing their expertise to a diverse array of projects across multiple state DOT's and Municipalities along the East Coast and Florida. Some fieldwork travel may be required.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering required.
Engineer Intern Certification Preferred.
1-5 years of relevant highway design experience required.
MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer experience preferred.
Familiar with FDOT CADD and Design Standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team, develop and maintain client relations, meet project demands and schedules.
