Job Title: Electrical Engineer Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Job Summary: We are looking for a mid-level Electrical Engineer to help grow and manage our operations. This position will work to design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components in our projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in industrial construction environments and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This position will report to the Engineering Manager.

Objectives of this role:

  • Create and issue construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Model and analyze power system studies.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable codes and standards including NEC, NESC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, IECC, and IEEE.


Required skills and qualifications:

  • PE or the ability to attain a PE license.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited school.
  • Demonstrated experience in grounding, power distribution, standby power generation, motor control center, switchgear, and lighting design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and/or Revit.
  • Proficient in EasyPower (preferred), PTW, or ETAP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work closely with and mentor junior designers.
  • Experience with battery storage systems, substation design, medium voltage distribution, lightning protection, access control, and/or protective relaying.
  • Oil and gas, mining, prime power generation, or similar heavy industrial experience.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor
