Job Description:

Lead Mechanical Engineer - Offshore
NES Fircroft is seeking to engage a Lead Mechanical Engineer with the skills and experience to lead a team during the pre-FEED, FEED and EPC stages of offshore Mega projects.
Responsibilities
Delivering discipline scope in line with schedule and budget
Controlling scope
Establishing execution approach
Allocation and monitoring of work between team members
Ensuring technical quality and providing guidance to team
Managing interfaces on project with Project Management, other disciplines, and Client.
Reporting on project status regularly to Department and Project Management.
Proactively resolve any discrepancies between the EPC and its Customer's requirements.
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
What You Will Bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to the EPC and its clients.
Extensive technical and practical experience in mechanical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Exposure to both fixed and rotating equipment is preferred.
Required
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Offshore large capital project experience
