Job Details

Position Summary:
Entry level engineering position. This position is responsible for mastering the various molding operations conducted within the company's Advanced Processing's material characterization lab. These molding operations could be for test specimen molding, Therma-flo material characterization or Autodesk Moldflow material characterization. All work is performed on injection molding machines.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure implementation and maintenance of policies and provisions of the quality manual
• Mastery of the following:
- Test Specimen Molding
- IMR Testing
- Shrinkage Test Molding
- Mechanical Plaque Molding
- Therma-flo Molding
• The Process Engineer I is responsible for knowing how to complete at least one of the molding operations within the Materials Characterization Division
• Data collection from the injection molding machine
• Documentation of molding process
• Maintenance of injection molds and inserts
• Maintaining cleanliness of work area
• Training of Process Technician's I, II, and III
• Point of contact when troubleshooting difficult resins or specimens
• All other tasks and duties assigned.

Requirements:
• Microsoft experience preferred
• 4 year college degree or equivalent certificate program
• Experience in the injection molding industry
• Able to work in a team environment
• May require lifting items over 15 pounds.
