As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components, such as lighting, power, fire alarm, security, and communication systems, in accordance with codes, standards, and client requirements
Preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit, and other software tools
Coordinating with other engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure the quality and timely delivery of projects
Conducting site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities as needed
Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to junior engineers and designers
Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Have

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
A Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the consulting industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software tools
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, and other applicable codes and standards
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
A willingness to travel occasionally and work on multiple projects simultaneously
