Medium Voltage Infrastructure Projects
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience with:
Medium voltage (2.4kV 35kV) infrastructure design for commercial and industrial facilities that is suitable for public bid, including specification of associated switchgear, transformers, and other related medium voltage equipment
Specification and coordination of protective relaying and SCADA systems for medium voltage electrical systems
Requirements
Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power and Energy Systems
An active PE License is preferred
Minimum 5 years experience
Able to work on electrical infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision
Experience using AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit
Prior experience working on commercial/industrial infrastructure projects. Must be able to access and perform site visits

Duties:
Pre-Design Engineering
Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare a site assessment report
Prepare electrical schematic designs
Project Management
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple large-size projects involving other senior engineers and sub-consultants
Provide mentorship to design engineers
Prepare proposals independently for clients
Demonstrate active development of business with new and existing clients
Construction Administration
Review and respond to RFI's
Review equipment submittals
Perform punch walks and prepare punch list report
