Description:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and executing of new products. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in analog and digital circuit design for various power electronics products. A good practical knowledge of the following is strongly desired: prototype soldering, component-level troubleshooting, design verification testing, gathering, organizing, and procuring prototype kits; working closely in a team environment with electrical/mechanical engineers, sales, marketing, and tech support.
Required:
Strong knowledge of power electronics
Strong Analog/Digital circuit design experience
Microcontroller
SMT and Through-hole soldering
PCB assembly prototyping
Test/troubleshooting to component-level
Working knowledge of test equipment: DMM, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, etc.
Computer software knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
Proficient in some type of schematic or PCB design software
Strong communication skills, both inside and outside the company
Test fixture design and building
Pre-production documentation
Documentation experience of: procedures, BOMs, ECN's
Must pass drug test
Desired, but not necessary:
Internet-of-Things
Wireless RF software des
Phone App Design
Micro controller coding in C or BASIC
Working knowledge of thermal chamber such as Thermatron or similar
AutoCAD Mechanical Design
Automation Test Equipment experience (hardware/software)
