Under direct supervision, this role performs duties related to the production process of a continuous-cast operation.
- Assist in a production process such as casting, milling, coiling, shipping, furnace and refractory
- Operate mobile equipment
- Complete the appropriate skill level criteria of the progression program
- Perform labor type work and keep facilities clean and free from job related safety hazards
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Must meet prior level progression criteria and/or one (1) year of related experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company
- Ability to interact effectively with others
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces
- Ability and willingness to learn and apply new or changing job-related tasks as required
