Direct hire opportunity with our client located in the Seaford, DE area for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Essential Duties

Design various HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire protection systems.

Construction administration and field investigation tasks for projects

Perform field inspections

Develop system narratives, complete load calculations, equipment selection, and other related design tasks.

Attend meetings and provide input and updates.

Analyze data to write up reports.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

PE required

10+ years of mechanical engineering experience

Experience in the engineering and design of mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection) systems

AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software experience

Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.
