Job Details

ONSITE/Hybrid role

Bring your expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Design to create and review HVAC system specifications, drawings, and submittals
  • Design, analyze, and specify process piping systems, various equipment, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems.
  • Define and implement design concepts, ensure technical accuracy of the work, and ensure overall quality of design documentation
  • Prepare, review, and approve drawings produced by the Mechanical Engineering team.
  • Apply vast knowledge of complex mechanical design and HVAC systems to develop new and improved techniques and procedures
  • Provide consultation to site engineers and business partners
  • Support development of project cost and schedule estimates.
  • Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 10-15 years of professional experience in commercial building projects
  • 6 plus years of experience designing mechanical systems for the HVAC space ie. :heating, cooling, chilling, conditioning, controls, building automation and/or water distribution
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related area from an accredited institution
  • Strong Mechanical design experience - ideally with an A/E and/or MEP engineering firm

Ability to be productive while working remotely but also able to come on site as needed
