As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of these systems. Your expertise in mechanical engineering principles, codes, standards, and design software will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions.

As a Mechanical Engineer you will:

  • Design modifications and improvements to equipment, mechanism and tooling based on established concepts and instructions in support of new product and process development projects.
  • Create preliminary and detail design drawings using 3D solid modeling with proficiency as a Mechanical Engineer
  • Utilize advanced software to ensure proper form, fit and function of tooling and machine assemblies through a full range of motion. Apply analytical methods and industry best practices to evaluate equipment design
  • Contribute to the creation of project and plans as required and provide status updates to ensure projects are completed in a timely manor
  • Be involved in the development of new or improved processes and/or equipment to facilitate the introduction of a new product or an improvement in cost, quality or delivery of existing products
Requirements:

Required qualifications for a Mechanical Engineer:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in a related engineering manufacturing or automation environment
  • A solid understanding of SolidWorks, Auto CAD and Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and Plex ERP System a plus for a Mechanical Engineer
  • Mechanical Engineer's demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision, and communicate with coworkers, manager and other department
