Our company is seeking a seasoned Permanent Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field and a deep understanding of the mechanical systems that fuel our work. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that are integral to our operations. Key responsibilities include:

1. Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
2. Applying knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
3. Conducting product testing and quality assurance to ensure the final product meets the required regulations and standards.
4. Working closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of automated production systems.
5. Applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
6. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
7. Utilizing software such as Revit to design mechanical systems and to integrate them into building designs.
8. Making decisions which impact the success of assigned projects i.e. results, deadlines and budget.
9. Providing technical advice to team members and management.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Mechanical Engineer position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
3. Proficient with Revit and other design software.
4. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create innovative solutions.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
8. Proven track record of successful project management.
9. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
10. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
