We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our manufacturing processes, focusing primarily on injection molding. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer with a strong background in the automotive industry and a passion for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AutoCAD and a bachelor's degree in Engineering. This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes, focusing on injection molding in the automotive industry.
  • Apply lean six sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste and enhance process efficiency and quality.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to design and modify equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and address production issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve manufacturing and engineering problems.
  • Monitor and analyze key process data to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
  • Train and mentor staff on new processes, lean manufacturing techniques, and equipment operation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on automotive injection molding.
  • Certified in Lean Six Sigma, with a proven track record of successful process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
