We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will offer you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and technologies, collaborating with a team of experts who are passionate about what they do. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery in our Data Centers and Power Distribution Centers. This role is not just about maintaining the status quo - it's about improving, innovating, and creating. Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Inventor and 3D modeling to design and develop mechanical systems and products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities; and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Develop mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and soliciting observations from operators.
  • Evaluate mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
  • Provide engineering support for the design and development of Data Centers and Power Distribution Centers.
  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, and requesting special services as needed.
  • Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor and 3D modeling.
  • Familiar with air flow and fluid flow calculations, as well as heat/gain loss in HVAC systems
  • Experience in building design of Power Distribution Centers and Data Centers, as well as metal structures & electrical enclosures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
