Mechanical Engineer II
SUMMARY
Develops and applies engineering design methods, CAD tools, theories, and techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems. Remains abreast of the most modern engineering concepts through personal learning initiatives and continuing education programs while applying this knowledge to assigned tasks when appropriate. This position pertains primarily to the Mechanical Engineering segment of flight simulator design/development and is largely project oriented. Task assignments may transcend several projects/programs simultaneously.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops test plans and unit.
Modifies designs to resolve definitions as directed by others.
Generates technical documentation describing designs.
Teamwork, involving close association with peers, and management is essential to coordinating engineering activities in an efficient and cost effective manner.
May perform other engineering and non-engineering duties as required by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
Must possess at least 3 years mechanical engineering experience or experience in related industry.
Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of Mechanical Engineering
Detail oriented.
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Must be able to solve technical and other business issues in a logical fashion
