About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the installation of solar PV systems.
• Conduct electrical analysis, system troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian electrical standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to optimize system efficiency
• Provide technical support and expertise for renewable energy initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in solar energy projects, including design and implementation.
• Knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and renewable energy regulations.
• Proficiency in CAD software and electrical modeling tools
• Specialized training or certification in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, such as the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems Certified (SPVC) certification

Desirable:

• Construction Electrician (NOC 7241) Certificate of Qualification
