Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering and two - five years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting desired

Effectively utilize computer-based applications including Microsoft Office Power Point, Project, Adobe, etc.

Experience 2D and/or 3D CAD software; SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, INVENTOR or Revit

Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in team-based activities

Strong safety ethic

Strong mechanical, structural and electrical aptitude required

Hydraulic and pneumatic experience required

Skilled in reading blueprints, drawings, schematics and detailed operations specifications.

Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environment strong preferred; steel or hot metal experience a strong plus.

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Exceptional analytical problem-solving and equipment vendor management skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiar with OSHA and EPA requirements for heavy manufacturing

Lean Six Sigma experience Project management experience

Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam a plus
