Job Title: Electrical Power Engineer


Location: Lake Marina Data Center


Job Type: Full time


Position Overview:


We are seeking a skilled Electrical Power Engineer with expertise in utility and transmission distribution systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical power systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Design and develop electrical power distribution systems, including substations, transmission lines, and related equipment.

Conduct feasibility studies, load flow analysis, and system reliability assessments to inform project planning and implementation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.

Perform inspections and evaluations of existing power systems to identify areas for improvement and implement upgrades or repairs.

Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation for projects, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standards.

Engage with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with utility regulations and environmental standards.

Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects and assist in resolving any engineering issues that arise.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to electrical power engineering and utility operations.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical power engineering with a focus on utility and transmission distribution systems.

Proficient in power system analysis software and tools (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, or equivalent).

Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Salary Range-$100k to $150k plus 12% bonuses
