Ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training
  • Ability to review and approve designs
  • AutoCAD Electrical experience is a plus


Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000/yr - depending on experience


Job Description:


Summary The Electrical Engineer designs and develops electrical circuit and system layouts, supports the implementation of manufactured systems, and oversees the creation of detailed schematics, enclosure builds, and electrical assemblies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to review equipment and system functions, addressing technical issues to meet project goals.
  • Guide engineering and drafting teams.
  • Create electrical drawing packages using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Support the company's strategic engineering goals.
  • Assist automation teams with field research, system testing, and commissioning of PLC/HMI control systems.
  • Manage projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Improve automation processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Design and quote jobs based on customer needs.
  • Develop control systems.
  • Coordinate with other departments for mutual support.
  • Work with customers and sales reps to resolve issues and finalize designs.
  • Oversee control system assembly and fabrication.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
  • Knowledge of NEC.
  • Familiar with electrical symbols, schematics, and components.
