Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Tasks: Perform consultations, design work, equipment selection, coordination, safety reviews, planning, and other tasks as needed.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to develop and implement projects.
  • Proposals and Reporting: Prepare project proposals and provide progress reports to clients and management.
  • Task Management: Handle assigned tasks under the guidance of a supervisor.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:

  • Organizational and Interpersonal Skills: Strong abilities in teamwork and managing departmental operations.
  • Independence and Decision-Making: Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and making sound decisions.
  • Project Management: Ability to handle and review multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Proficient in interacting with clients and stakeholders.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SKM modeling software, power supplies up to 4160 volts, MCC equipment, and oil and gas processing.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Communication: Ability to convey ideas clearly and transfer knowledge effectively.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Certification: EIT (Engineer in Training) certification, or a PE (Professional Engineer) license.

Operational Requirements:

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work well with others.
  • Travel: Some travel required (10-20%).
  • Safety and Environment: Commitment to safety, ability to work in various environments including refineries and chemical plants, and readiness to handle hazardous conditions.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks such as climbing, using supplied air devices, and entering confined spaces.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license for cars and light trucks.
  • Communication: Clear communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
