Job Description:

Electrical/Electronics Engineer - Embedded Systems (Medical Devices)

Location: Guilford, CT (On-site)

Full-Time Salary: Up to $130,000


Are you passionate about designing and developing cutting-edge embedded systems? We're looking for an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer to help lead innovation in our next-generation medical and industrial devices.


What You'll Do

  • Design, test, and troubleshoot embedded systems and custom PCBs
  • Develop firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers (MCUs)
  • Validate designs to meet industry standards (IEC 60601-1, IEC 62304, etc.)
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation (FMEAs, BOMs, test protocols)
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to support R&D and product lifecycle
  • Participate in design reviews and product safety validation
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive technical solutions


What We're Looking For

  • BS/MS in Electrical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems and PCB design
  • Proficiency in C/C++ firmware development
  • Experience with circuit analysis, debugging, and system integration
  • Familiarity with medical device or safety-critical product development a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills


Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of formal design control processes (FMEAs, risk management)
  • Experience in regulated environments or ISO-compliant systems
  • Ability to contribute across product architecture, testing, and compliance
