Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Onsite in Fayetteville, AR, OR Tulsa, OK

Hours: M-F, 8 am to 5 pm CT

Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems within client facilities
  • Prepare issue for construction electrical design and engineering calculations
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations
  • Implement energy-efficient practices to optimize electrical consumption
  • Ensure that all electrical equipment meets safety and performance specifications
  • Prepare accurate documentation of systems, schematics, scope of work, and specifications
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, customers, and facility management
  • Stay informed about changes in electrical codes and regulations
  • Stay well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices
  • Assist in budget planning for electrical projects and ongoing maintenance
  • Monitor expenses and ensure projects are completed within budget limitations
  • Evaluate the feasibility and impact of proposed changes


Skills and Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required
  • P.E. (Electrical) is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of electrical design experience in industrial engineering required
  • Minimum of 4 years of field experience required
  • Proficiency in designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D AND Revit 3D for electrical system design required
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems associated with electrical equipment required
  • Competence in software tools for data analysis, documentation, and project management required
  • Ability to travel 1-2 nights per month (on average) to job sites and facilities required
