AWS/CES is looking for a Junior and Senior Electrical Engineers

Location: Memphis TN

Salary: $87K - $140K BOE

We are seeking Junior and Senior Electrical Engineers to lead the development and implementation of manufacturing equipment from concept to full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of equipment development, from initial design to production
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams through all project phases, including purchase orders, design reviews, testing, installation, and production ramp-up
• Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to anticipate and mitigate potential issues
• Develop timing charts for equipment to streamline production
• Supervise equipment installation and collaborate with facility and utility teams
• Implement and execute equipment validation strategies
• Create detailed manufacturing instructions for new processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with equipment design, installation, and large-scale manufacturing line integration
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, including process timing and line balancing
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Experience using CAD software for designing mechanical equipment, tooling, and fixtures (SolidWorks preferred; Catia is a plus)
• Knowledge of tolerance stack-ups and safety systems related to manufacturing equipment (Safety PLCs, robot safety, light curtains, LOTO, etc.)
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff)
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and database integration
• Skills in Python and MySQL for data tracking and system automation
