Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

Great opportunity for a Mechanical, Electrical, or Field Service Engineer with great troubleshooting skills! We are currently recruiting a site-based Engineer in Connecticut to work with customers via phone, email, and video to provide outstanding customer support - please note there is ZERO design work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Help customers remotely diagnose hardware and software problems and advise on repairs
• Deliver outstanding customer support by providing customers with training and technical support for installed instruments
• Document and report all repairs, product failures, design change recommendations, and other paperwork in a timely fashion
• Fix instruments that are sent back by the customer to be returned/resold

Candidate Qualifications

• 2+ years working with complex instrumentation (ideally Laboratory equipment) performing installs, preventative maintenance, and repair work
• Electromechanical aptitude with a thorough and logical troubleshooting style
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to keep cool under pressure

Salary:

• $70-75K annual salary
