Our client in the North County San Diego Organization is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer II to add to their team.

• Salary $110,000K - $130,000K

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new high-power analog and digital LED and power control circuit boards.
• Use LTSpice for pre and post design analysis.
• Perform live circuit testing and debugging.
• Perform maintenance of accurate and organized BOMs
• Collaborate with firmware, thermal, optical, and mechanical engineers on present and future design.
• Provide clear information to the Engineering and Product Development team regarding electrical product and component tests, status of 3rd party electrical designs and electro-mechanical design interfacing.
• Understand and apply basic heat transfer and thermal property practices of metals and PCB constructions
• Perform physical assembly creation for in-house prototyping.
• Work with and train Production team on new product designs.
• Design and maintain PCB testing and MCU programming fixtures.
• Maintain test specifications and procedures for all circuit board designs.
• Keep up with electronic advancements and look at ways to implement them into current and future designs.
• Work with Customer Support, Sales, and Warranties departments to troubleshoot customer issues and use feedback.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,
• A minimum of 7 years of Hardware & Circuit design specifically
• PCB and PCBA design and layout along with experience utilizing Altium Schematic Capture software.
• CID and/or CID+ certifications are highly preferred
