The Role

We're seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement mechanical components of our integrated automation systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical components and assemblies for custom automation systems
  • Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software
  • Perform engineering calculations and analysis to validate designs
  • Collaborate with electrical, and controls engineers on integrated solutions
  • Serve as project leader in some instances
  • Support equipment installation and commissioning at client sites
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues during testing and implementation
  • Document designs, modifications, and technical specifications
  • Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and present solutions


Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 0-5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or related field
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and hands-on skills
  • Excellent communication abilities and teamwork orientation
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site installation support (approximately 20%)


Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with conveyors and industrial automation equipment
  • Experience with pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and controls integration
  • Experience with robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB)
  • Understanding of machine safety standards
