Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Center Projects


Location: Denver, CO


The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and execute electrical engineering and design for high-tech facilities, including new data centers, facility expansions, and system upgrades. The role involves collaborating with clients and team members to develop engineering solutions for mission-critical projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical engineering and design of high-tech facilities, including new data centers, facility expansions, and system upgrades.
  • Design power systems for complex electrical setups, including UPS and generator support systems.
  • Expertise in power distribution, grounding, standby power, uninterruptible power, and related systems.
  • Develop electrical one-lines, specifications, calculations, studies, and software-based systems analysis.
  • Understand building systems and inter-discipline coordination.
  • Lead, mentor, and delegate design work to project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer registration.
  • Strong understanding of the mission-critical industry and renovation/greenfield construction projects.
  • Experience in designing medium voltage, power monitoring, lighting, and lighting control systems is a plus.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Ability to pass background checks, security screenings, or drug testing as required by clients or Federal contracts.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.


Work Environment & Schedule

Looking for someone who is willing to work 4 days a week in office.
