Adecco Permanent Recruitment is hiring for a Senior Electrical Engineer - Experienced in servo control and motion systems. Our client designs and manufactures motion solutions for various uses.


Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer passionate about designing motion systems and supporting the Company's controls ecosystem. This role involves designing and developing custom motion solutions for major clients in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital and analog control systems and excels in troubleshooting, tuning, and analyzing system performance.


Responsibilities

  • Define requirements, develop specifications, and design system architectures through direct collaboration with customers and internal teams.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and testing of precision motion control systems, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Create and manage electrical schematics, interconnect drawings, BOMs, and project documentation using Altium, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
  • Oversee engineering development activities using best practices and project development processes.
  • Develop and document analytical models of system behavior, leveraging simulation tools for optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with CE, UL, RoHS, REACH, and other regulatory standards.
  • Rapidly prototype and test new concepts to mitigate technical risks in new developments.
  • Configure and test motion control systems using Kollmorgen, Elmo, Galil, PMD, and similar drive technologies.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Strong foundation in mechanics, electromagnetics, and physics.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with expertise in servo control and motion systems.
  • Hands-on experience with motion controls, drives, and optical encoders.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, MathCAD, C, C++, C#, Python, LabVIEW for system modeling and interfacing.
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Altium) for electrical design documentation.


Preferred Experience

  • Broad exposure to electrical engineering tools across multiple disciplines.
  • Experience in analog circuit design.
  • In-depth knowledge of servo control theory and implementation (not PLC-based).
