We are seeking a Technical Specialist in Power Architecture who will serve as the primary engineer responsible for developing comprehensive low voltage electrical power documentation for International vehicles. This encompasses low voltage power structures, power budgets, system definitions, function allocation, and system-level technical support.


The International Motors Systems Architecture team focuses on creating system-level requirements for vehicle functions while defining electrical power, vehicle network, functional, and communication architecture constructs.

This role offers flexibility in location, allowing work from our International design centers in Lisle, Illinois, Rochester Hills, Michigan, or Elmendorf, Texas. Relocation assistance is available.


Must have requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
  • At least 12 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experience
  • At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies

OR

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
  • At least 8 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experience
  • At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies

OR

  • PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
  • At least 5 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies or specialized technologies and/or computer science experience
  • At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies
