Our client is an early-stage, stealth-mode company building a new kind of control plane for the physical world - blending hardware, software, and wireless sensing into one unified system. Their work enables real-time awareness, autonomous operations, and next-generation physical security for high-value assets.

They're backed by top investors and led by a founding team with experience at Anduril, Tesla, Uber, and U.S. Special Forces.

We're looking for a Founding Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of modular sensor systems and rugged compute platforms.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy embedded systems for multi-modal sensing hardware
• Own the electrical architecture: PCBs, power systems, RF, sensors, and high-speed digital
• Lead schematic and board design, system bring-up, integration, and lab testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, RF, firmware)
• Support field deployments and evolve hardware based on real-world feedback
• Build out the EE function - team, tooling, and processes

What we're looking for

• 5+ years designing and testing complex embedded systems
• Strong background in mixed signal, power electronics, sensor integration, and rugged design
• Familiarity with RF systems, high-speed protocols, and EMI/EMC best practices
• Proficient with Altium (or equivalent), lab equipment, and simulation tools
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity - startup-ready and execution-focused
