Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site mechanical engineer with DEMONSTRATED project management skills and experience. MUST have experience in managing projects from initial design through final delivery, including design iteration, mechanical engineering, management of outside fabricators and management of final assembly and delivery. Client management skills and experience are useful.
You will ideally have proven design and engineering experience balancing design, functionality, and feasibility of manufacturing of metal fixtures and mechanisms. We machine, cast and forge our products and work with artisans and production partners on the East Coast.

Must Have Qualifications
- 3-7 years in work experience
- MUST be proficient in Solidworks
- Strong project management abilities and experience with deadline and budgets
- Experience in high-end manufacturing or hardware or plumbing fixtures design is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with building construction and millwork process
- Experience reading architectural drawings
- Hands-on shop skills including metal machining, woodworking, and use of typical hand tools
Responsibilities
- Part and assembly modeling in Solidworks
- Develop presentation packages for design and technical review
- Develop fabrication drawings and work with production team and vendors
- Manage project and production timelines
- Oversee QC and assembly process
