Job Description:

Job Description: We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our team, responsible for design review and new product development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electronics design, including printed circuit board schematic design with both thru-hole and SMT components. This position will also support engineering staff in identifying and resolving issues, and making recommendations for improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System layout and design, including related engineering support documentation in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements for Interior Communications Systems.
  • Convert and enter Bills of Materials into the computer system for purchasing.
  • Develop technical documentation within the framework of accepted department standards and procedures.
  • Generate design requirements.
  • Develop testing validation plans.
  • Conduct failure analysis and develop solutions for design issues.
  • Occasional travel required.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent job experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with detailed design experience.
  • Design experience including printed circuit board schematic design with both thru-hole and SMT components.
  • Understanding of electricity, power and control systems, and experience with mechanical assemblies.
  • Communication protocol experience.
  • Proficient with Word and Excel.


Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.


Internal Notes:

  • 6-month contract-to-hire (C2H).
  • Must be clearance eligible.
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM).
  • Background check and drug test required.
