Salary Range: Commensurate - Permanent Position with Benefits Solon, Ohio area manufacturer is hiring a Process Engineer experienced with Solid Works 3D CAD/CAM software to design fixtures and tooling as well as update manufacturing methods. REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate, Associate Degree or higher is preferred Must be willing to work a standard 50 hour workweek 6am-4:30pm (time and one half paid after 40 hrs. per week, optional Saturday - double time ) experienced with Solid Works 3D CAD/CAM Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing software to design fixtures and tooling Assess risks using CTM (Corporate Travel Management) existing forms Review manufacturers supplied parts history suggesting alternatives Create and update work instructions for manufacturing process Interact with vendors / suppliers to increase potential resources Develop Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) system to evaluate and identify potential failures related to operational processes and uncover vulnerabilities resulting in productivity, quality control, and safety setbacks. Maintain and update PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) used particularly in the automotive and aerospace industries, to ensure that suppliers can consistently produce parts that meet customer requirements and quality standards. It's a critical process for validating a supplier's ability to manufacture parts reliably and repeatedly Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Standards needed Only U.S. Citizens!
