Job Description:

Senior Electrical Engineer

Andover, MA or Foxboro, MA Hybrid (Mon & Thurs Onsite)

40 hrs/week Contract through year-end


We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electronic and/or electrical product design and engineering to support exciting R&D and production initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in Foxboro, MA or Andover, MA offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the full product lifecycle-from new designs to legacy product support-in a collaborative, global team environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and improve PCBs using Cadence Allegro
  • Create and release schematics, BOMs, and detailed documentation for manufacturing
  • Utilize Windchill PDM to manage engineering files and fabrication data
  • Resolve design/fabrication issues and optimize processes
  • Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams
  • Lead engineering-level support for assigned and unassigned projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in control electronics, analog/digital circuits, and power electronics
  • Expertise in PCB design that meets EMC, safety, mechanical, and DFM/DFA requirements
  • Familiarity with components like IGBTs, Magnetics, Capacitors, and Thyristors
  • Proficient in test equipment: CROs, AC/DC sources, multimeters, transformers, data loggers
  • Experience with PLM tools, especially Allegro and Windchill PDM
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot products, and propose alternate solutions
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and attention to detail


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Ideal: Knowledge of Ladder Logic, GE Proficy, or Modicon Control Expert
  • Proficient in MS Teams, Excel, Word, Access
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective problem-solver and self-starter
