As an Electrical Engineer you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing control systems, integrating sensors and actuators, and troubleshooting complex automation equipment. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and efficient automation solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and control panels for industrial automation equipment
- Create and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices
- Select and integrate sensors, actuators, drives, and other automation components
- Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning on-site or remotely
- Support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and optimization of automated systems
- Prepare technical documentation, including test reports, BOMs, and specifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or automation projects (internships/co-ops acceptable)
- Familiarity with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMI development
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design tools
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, cost estimation, and reporting
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus)
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, UL) and safety practices
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SCADA systems and control architecture design
- Hands-on experience with sensors, relays, VFDs, and servo drives
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control issues quickly and effectively
- Strong documentation and project management skills
