About the Role:
We are seeking an innovative Electrical Engineer I to join our team, supporting the design and development of electrical systems for aerospace inflatable restraint products. You will work on exciting projects that integrate mechanical components with digital and analog electronics, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and modify digital and analog circuits for aerospace safety systems.
- Develop and integrate systems based on microcontrollers and aircraft electrical interfaces.
- Act as a technical point of contact for both commercial and government clients.
- Create and review product documentation, including component drawings, specifications, test plans, reports, and instruction manuals.
- Support preliminary design concepts, cost estimates, and project proposals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and integration issues during fabrication, testing, and production.
- Apply commercial and military specifications (including DO-160 standards) to hardware development.
- Ensure timely and high-quality documentation of engineering work.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in digital and analog circuit design.
- Hands-on experience with microcontroller development.
- Familiarity with aircraft electrical systems and aviation electrical interface standards.
- Proficient in developing and reviewing technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, results-driven mindset, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience working with DO-160 requirements.
- Prior aerospace industry experience is a plus.
