Job Description:

Manufacturing company in western Tennessee needs an Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, PLC Engineer. Please apply if you are willing to live and work in Jackson, Tennessee.


You will design and implement automation for manufacturing operations. Work on capital projects. Work with contractors on heavy manufacturing installations and alterations. You should have experience with PLC or DCS or combination systems, electric power projects.


  • Manage automation projects in heavy manufacturing
  • Hands-on troubleshooting technical issues related to industrial and manufacturing equipment.
  • Work on Capital equipment Projects (CAPEX), high voltage projects
  • HMI Programming, SCADA
  • Work with Rockwell Automation Systems, Allen Bradley
  • Test the performance and quality of automation systems


Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Should be familiar with multi-tasking operating systems, real-time communications systems, PLC's, HMI programming.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet, networking knowledge - TCP/IP, etc., switches, routers, relational databases desirable.
  • Three years' experience programming industrial process control systems is required. Both junior and senior level automation engineers are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be knowledgeable about process modeling.
  • Experience in Electrical Engineering and automation for a manufacturing plant. This is not a product design position.
