Position Summary: The Quad Cities office is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with over 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building HVAC, piping, and plumbing design. Experience with industrial manufacturing projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical systems for buildings, including plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation, fire protection, building automation, and industrial process systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical team members and multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, structural, architectural, and civil engineers.
  • Work on diverse mechanical projects across various market sectors, such as government facilities, healthcare, industrial, commercial, and educational institutions.
  • Produce construction drawings using Revit 3D modeling software.
  • Visit project sites to assist with measurements, data collection, and construction observation duties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an HVAC emphasis from an accredited engineering school.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in at least one state.
  • Experience leading a team of professional engineers on multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software, preferably Revit. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is desired.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a professional environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent time and workload management, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to engineering detail.
