I'm working with a client that's looking to hire an Electrical Engineer to lead the development and commercialization of mining cooling systems. The role involves working across teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, with a focus on electrical systems, automation, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers and developers
• Support the design and layout of electrical systems
• Contribute to product development and commercialization
• Develop and support SCADA, HMI, and related control systems
• Assist with processes related to installation, certification, and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (PE license required)
• 10+ years of experience in automation or control systems
• Experience with SCADA, HMI, PLCs, VFDs, and equipment control components
• Programming experience (Java, Python, or JS) and familiarity with databases
• Comfortable with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
• Strong ability to read, modify, and approve electrical/mechanical drawings
• Experience leading technical teams and managing project timelines
