We're looking for an experienced SR. Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in machinery and tooling design to join our engineering team. This role focuses on creating detailed designs for custom automation systems and supporting builds from concept through completion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of mechanical design experience
• Advanced SolidWorks proficiency
• Experience with machinery, automation systems, and tooling design
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems, linear actuators, and precision motion components
• Proficient with 2D CAD software

Key Responsibilities:

• Design machines, tools, and equipment from concept through detailed CAD models and drawings
• Support build phases with engineering input to improve functionality, manufacturability, and cost
• Collaborate with customers and internal sales teams to align on specifications, budgets, and deadlines
• Review and refine designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with project goals
• Select appropriate materials and components for production
• Track design progress, timing, and costs using ERP systems
• Travel is minimal (

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Vault Product Data Management (PDM)
• Background in coordinated motion design
• Familiarity with CADLink ERP integration
• Supervisory or team lead experience (2+ years)
