Job Description:

Now Hiring: Senior Electrical Engineer - Robotics

Austin / San Antonio, TX (Relocation Allowed)

A fast-moving robotics company at the forefront of dexterous manipulation is searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead hardware and firmware systems for its next-gen bionic and humanoid robotic hands. This role is perfect for an engineer who thrives in hands-on environments and has deep experience across PCB design, embedded systems, and motor control (brushed + brushless).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end electrical design: hardware architecture, firmware development, and motor control.
  • Lead PCB layout, prototyping, board bring-up, and system integration.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical and software teams to deliver cohesive products.
  • Drive system-level architecture decisions and technical documentation.

You'll Succeed Here If You Have:

  • Deep experience with embedded C/C++, STM32/Infineon microcontrollers, and electromechanical control systems.
  • Strong background in multi-layer PCB design and debugging.
  • Hands-on knowledge of motor implementation and tuning.
  • Familiarity with tools like Altium, Eagle, Python, and design-for-manufacturing best practices.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working on real-world robotics, prosthetics, or complex mechatronic systems.
  • Integration across electrical, mechanical, and software layers.
  • Leadership/mentorship experience and cross-functional collaboration.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape next-gen robotic systems in a growing and mission-driven company.
