We're looking for a Materials & Process Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team!
In this role, you'll support First Part Qualifications (FPQ), review technical documentation for compliance, and collaborate across departments to solve complex production challenges. You'll also be a key player in validating processes, driving quality, and ensuring adherence to industry standards like MIL specs and AMS.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and coordinate FPQ activities
- Review process plans for compliance with aerospace specs
- Investigate manufacturing issues and propose technical solutions
- Prepare internal documentation, including engineering instructions and test plans
- Liaise with customer engineering teams for process approvals and deviations
- Contribute to materials testing, rework planning, and equipment validation
What You Bring:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Science with materials focus
- 3-5 years' experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing
- Proficiency in CATIA, Microsoft Office, and reading aerospace drawings
- Familiarity with aerospace processes (e.g., anodizing, heat treatment, painting, NDT)
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
Bonus:
- Prior experience working with MIL specs, Federal specs, or AMS standards
