Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, telecommunications) for healthcare and university projects
- Lead projects from concept through construction with limited supervision
- Apply knowledge of applicable design codes, industry standards, and project specifications
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project success
- Utilize Revit for accurate and coordinated electrical system designs
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a consulting engineering environment
- Proven experience designing electrical systems for healthcare and university projects
- In-depth understanding of design codes, industry standards, and specification requirements
- Proficient in Revit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
