Position: Process Engineer Req Location: Santa Clara, CA Duties: Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a variety of difficult process engineering experiments, within safety guidelines. Perform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systems, within safety guidelines. Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues. Develop new thin film products directed towards patterning new devices. Generate internal and external documentation for products presentations and technical reports including but not limited to Producer SE/GT, Precision XP, Tesseract, BlueRock and Volga. Transfer cutting edge technologies such as process variability and marathon report for next generation N+1/N+2 hard masks for logic, NAND, DRAM device customers, using best practices for High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). Assess customer feedback to assess and update tools and process performance, and develop and optimize materials processes in Applieds Signet, Saphira, Pioneer and Kodiak chambers to enable new hard masks for the next generation of pattering applications. Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on a carbon/silicon with boron-based plasma enhanced CVD process engineering experiments, within safety guidelines. Requirements: Masters degree (US or foreign) in Chemical Engineering, Biomolecular Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
