Senior Electrical Engineer - Professional Engineering (PE) License Required
We are partnered with a large Engineering & Construction firm that is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. In this position, you will be involved in leading the design and analysis of complex electrical systems, including power distribution, protection, renewable energy, and facility power systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electric master system plans, power, protection, and generation systems with general direction.
- Conduct power system studies, electrical calculations, lighting layouts, and related analyses.
- Develop white papers and technical documentation to advance firm knowledge.
- Perform site reviews to ensure design compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with sales on proposals and client engagements.
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences.
- Mentor and train junior staff; may supervise engineering project work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field; PE license required.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing power systems for water, wastewater, industrial, federal, or transit facilities preferred.
- Proficient with industry codes (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.) and power system analysis software (SKM, ETAP).
- Strong skills in CADD (3D/4D), Microsoft Office, and engineering design principles.
- Excellent communication skills and regulatory knowledge.
- Willingness to travel as required.
